Lost and Found Pets

The Manhattan Beach Police Department's Animal Control kennel is a short-term holding facility for domestic animals.  If a pet is not claimed by its owner, pets may be transferred to a shelter or rescue.

Below are listings of pets in the City of Manhattan Beach, whose owners have not yet been located or are lost.  If the pet has been transferred to a shelter (or rescue/adoption) or returned to its owner, that information will be noted.  Please visit our Steps to Finding Your Lost Pet page for tips on locating your missing pet.

For more information, please contact the Manhattan Beach Parking and Animal Control Office (310) 802-5160 during normal business hours.

Note:  Due to the high likelihood that animals will be immediately returned to their owners by Manhattan Beach Animal Control:  Stray animals found and not claimed after 2-3 days will be added on the website.  Please call our offices, (310) 802-5160, for the latest animals in custody.  If you do not see your pet on our website, check regularly with other local shelters, as pets may wander great distances before they are picked up by an Animal Control Officer.  For more tips on finding your missing pet, visit our Steps to Finding Your Lost Pet page.
