Registration for 2026/2027 School Year camps will open Monday, July 6, 2026.

REC Camp coincides with MBUSD breaks (Fall, Winter, Ski Week and Spring). If your child is registered during a month that includes a camp, they will be automatically enrolled at no extra charge. These camps are located at Manhattan Heights Park and Live Oak Park from 8 AM to 6 PM.

The Afterschool REC Program and REC Camp are closed on Labor Day, Thanksgiving and day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Memorial Day.

Please note activities are subject to change based on weather and field maintenance.

Please bring a healthy bag lunch, and refillable water bottle. Campers should wear clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor activities. REC Camps follow a 1:10 ratio (1 counselor to 10 participants). We will do our best to keep siblings in the same group unless directed otherwise.

- The online registration service requires a nonrefundable convenience fee of 5.84% of the total charges.

- Include payment on form (check payable to "City of Manhattan Beach" or credit card)
- Make sure to sign Release of Liability and Cardholder Signature if paying with a credit card
- Receipt will be emailed to you
DROP OFF in CITY HALL DROP BOX
- You may drop off your registration form in drop boxes located in front of City Hall and near the Library drop box at any time
- Pay using check or credit card
- Please put your registration form and payment in an envelope, with ATTN: Parks and Recreation Registration on the front of the envelope
- Make sure to sign Release of Liability and Cardholder Signature if paying with a credit card
- Receipt will be emailed to you
