The Teen Center School Year Program is a drop-in program open to students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students’ teens who attend Manhattan Beach Middle School. The School Year Program operates from August through June, concurrent to the Manhattan Beach Unified School District Schedule and is open most school holidays and teacher in-service days.

Afterschool Program hours are Monday – Friday 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Wednesdays 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. 1st Friday of the Afterschool program month, we are open until 8:00 PM for Late Night TC. The Teen Center attracts approx. 40 to 50 participants per day. The daily program includes homework time, free time, drop-in activities (basketball, ping-pong, pool table, foosball, video games, etc.), arts and crafts, organized team and individual games, and special events (cooking days, movie days, barbecues, etc.)

Includes: Vacation Camps (Any teens not enrolled in the afterschool must register for each camp separately), Late Night Snacks and Late Night Teen Center.

The Afterschool Teen Center Program and TC Camps are closed on Labor Day (September 1, 2025), Thanksgiving (November 27 and 28, 2025), Christmas (December 25 and 26) New Years (January 1 and 2, 2026) Memorial Day (May 26, 2026)
