Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with the City of Manhattan Beach at this free patriotic community event featuring live entertainment, ceremonial traditions, and a special military flyover.

The celebration includes remarks from the Mayor, recognition of the America 250 Commemorative Poster Contest winner, a patriotic ceremony with local Boy Scouts and the Sons of the American Revolution, the National Anthem performed by Mira Costa High School student Gavin Caleo, and a Tiger Squadron flyover scheduled for approximately 4:59 PM.

Due to weather and park conditions, today’s Concert in the Park performance featuring ABBA LA has been cancelled.

Although the rain is expected to stop later this afternoon and we had hoped to move forward with the concert, the grounds at Polliwog Park will remain too wet to safely accommodate today’s event.

We appreciate your understanding and are sorry to miss an afternoon of music in the park.
