How to Request an Inspection:

• You can request an inspection no later than 3:00 PM on the business day before you want the inspection to take place. The inspector will be scheduled to be at the job site the following business day. Any inspection requested after 3:00 PM on a business day, weekend, or holiday will be pushed out to the next business day.
• Inspection requests are scheduled through the Citizen Self Service (CSS) Portal. Inspection requests can be made at any time, but will be subject to the cutoff times stated above.
• You must be an active contact listed on the permit to request inspections.
• No work or inspections can take place until the permit has been approved and issued.
• You may only request a maximum of three (3) inspections per project, per day.

• Information and definitions related to Residential Inspections can be found on on the Residential Inspection Descriptions handout. 
• Inspector assignments are subject to change.
• Inspectors do not set appointments.
• Inspectors should arrive within the window of estimated start time and end time noted on the Daily Inspection Schedule.
• When inspectors are unable to complete all assigned work, uncompleted inspection(s) will carry over to the next work day.
• A re-inspection fee may be assessed when work is not ready, approved plans are not on-site, and/or no access has been provided or there is any deviation from the approved plans.
