Online Services

While City Hall is closed, online services, such as class registration, account management and bill pay, are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week through the City's website or the Reach Manhattan Beach app (see below for link).

    1. First download the Liberty Hydra app and create an account or go to Liberty Access Technologies (LAT) to sign up for an account.
    2. Fund your pre-paid wallet in your Liberty Hydra account by clicking the balance option on the home screen.
    3. Enable location settings and choose the correct charging location in the app via the ‘plug’ icon. There should be a number on each charging station.
    4. Select charging duration
    5. Press "Get Code" and enter code on keypad. The keypad may not be directly next to the charger but will be nearby.

EV Charging Locations in Manhattan Beach
The City currently operates 28 EV charging stations at 10 locations, which provide free charging to the public. Installation of the City-owned public EV chargers were made possible through a grant from the Air Quality Management District's Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Committee, in combination with funding from the California Energy Commission and City operating funds. The locations of the EV Chargers are:

 Metlox Parking Lot at 451 Manhattan Beach Blvd    4 stations
 Joslyn Center at 1601 N. Valley Drive  2 stations
 Live Oak Park at 1901 N. Valley Drive      2 stations
 Upper North Pier Parking Lot at 1125 Ocean Drive  2 stations
 Upper South Pier Parking Lot at 1121 Ocean Drive  2 stations
 Civic Center Parking Garage (not including City fleet chargers)   10 stations
