CITY’S EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS FAIR

Is your household prepared for an emergency? Mark your calendar for the City's Emergency Preparedness Fair and discover simple, practical ways to help keep yourself, your family, and your neighbors safe before disaster strikes.

Join us on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Fire Station 1 (400 15th Street) for this free, family-friendly event designed to help residents build emergency preparedness skills and learn about local resources.

Attendees can enjoy:

  • Live demonstrations, including first aid and hands-only CPR
  • Emergency preparedness information booths covering earthquakes, tsunamis, and other hazards
  • Opportunities to sign up for upcoming CERT training, CPR/AED classes, and Map Your Neighborhood meetings
  • Fun, interactive safety activities for children
  • Giveaways (while supplies last) and raffle prizes
