The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) conducts an annual homeless count across Los Angeles County every January. This count allows stakeholders to receive official statistics of what homelessness looks like in our community and will help LAHSA determine where services are needed most.
The City will once again host a deployment site for the 2026 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count at the Joslyn Community Center at 1601 N. Valley Drive on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from approximately 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Check-in at 7:30 PM).
LAHSA is looking for volunteers to assist with conducting Manhattan Beach’s homeless count. The public is encouraged to sign up and participate. To sign up, go to: theycountwillyou.org.
For questions, please contact the City's Homelessness Liaison.
The City is grateful for the community's continued support of this event.
