Please join us on Thursday, December 4, 2025, for an informative community meeting to discuss the results of a Development Impact Fee Nexus Study for the City of Manhattan Beach. This virtual meeting will offer a presentation with an overview of the Study and outline the proposed development impact fees that will be considered by the City Council on January 13, 2026. Following the presentation, community members will have the opportunity to engage in a Question and Answer session.
As background, Development Impact Fees (DIFs) are one-time charges on new development that are collected and used by the City to cover the cost of capital facilities, vehicles, and equipment that are required to serve new growth.
Not able to make this meeting? Don't worry—this is just the beginning of the community engagement process. For more information, please visit the Development Impact Fees webpage. For questions and comments, please contact Emy-Rose Hanna, Financial Services Manager, via email at ehanna@manhattanbeach.gov or by phone at (310) 802-5555.
Hope to see you there!
